GOOD LUCK SPARTANS IN THE SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TONIGHT VS. NORTHWOODS AT THE HIBBING MEMORIAL ARENA AT 7:00 PM!! GO SPARTANS!! No fans will be allowed due to new procedures due to COVID-19.
Here are some tips to keep our Spartan family healthy:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Students and staff reminder: Please do not park near the dumpsters around the building. Waste Management needs enough clearance to empty containers on their regular routes.
STUDENTS: Whenever you report to the office during the school day please sign in the office visit sign in sheet!!
Students! Do you have a voice for the intercom? We need a bulletin reader for a few classrooms from the office each morning at 8:25. See Mardell if you are interested in trying out!
Students are reminded they are NOT to take the elevators unless you have a medical reason AND written permission from the office.
STUDENTS, PARENTS, STAFF: THE DAILY BULLETIN CAN BE ACCESSED ON THE WEBSITE, FACEBOOK AND WILL ALSO BE POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARDS NEAR THE OFFICE AND ACROSS FROM THE LIBRARY.
BE SURE TO BE CHECKING THE LOST AND FOUND FOR YOUR ITEMS! ALL ITEMS WILL BE DONATED EVERY FRIDAY.
Clean up after yourself during lunch. Trays go in the trash. Thank you!
REMINDER: NO CELL PHONES IN CLASSROOMS. YOUR PHONE MAY BE CONFISCATED AND DETENTION ASSIGNED.
Please be in class on time and stay! Every class period skipped earns a detention. A skipped detention will result in a suspension. If you skip detention, it may result in a suspension.
Arrowhead Drivers Training starts March 23 at Nashwauk City Hall. Pick up registration forms in the office.. Deadline is March 22.
Blandin scholarship deadline has been extended until March 15th! Lots of March deadlines, check the scholarship page often!
Seniors! Need to make some extra cash this summer? How does $19-$24/hour and 58 cents a mile sound? Apply at 2020census.gov/jobs. Must be 18.
Students who signed up to take the ACT: The ACT test prep workshop will be Thursday, March 19th. We will also do our required pre-test bubbling after the workshop. The ACT test will be Tuesday, March 24th. Both start at 8:30 in the pool room!
College visit: HCC will be here on March 17th at 9:00.
2020-21 PSEO packets for ICC and HCC are available in the counseling office. You have until May 30th to apply for PSEO!
Students: if you have not yet registered for classes for next year, please see Mrs. Tucci this week or she will have to pick your classes for you!
If anyone finds a silver ring with 8-10 diamonds on it please return it to the office! Thank you
March 18th: Shyanne Meadows is hosting a free haircut event from 2:30 to 6:30! This event is entirely free but donations are welcome! There are permission slips in the office you will need to bring with you as well. This event is for ALL students and their families! :)
New CIS students: there will be a brief, but important meeting on Friday, 2nd hour in the pool room. Please check in with your 2nd hour first then report to the pool room.
