Good Luck to GNK Cross Country at your IRC Meet!

Runners are dismissed at 12:15, Bus leaves at 12:30

There is a sign up sheet in the office for the fan bus to the Cross Country IRC Championship meet on Thurs., Oct. 25 in Cloquet.  Cost is $5 (there is no cost to get into the meet). Bus will leave NK approximately 9:15 and return before the end of the day.

Think of What You Want to Wear for Halloween! There Will be a Costume Contest! The Categories are; Monster/Scary, Pop Culture, Most Original, SuperHero/ Super Villain, Or others that you can think of!

No weapons, Not even fake, If you have a mask keep it off during class, No nudity, and no dressing up as someone else's religion or culture. Face paint is okay.

Friday is Spartan Spirit day!  EVERY FRIDAY!

1. Next college visit:   NDSU 10/31 at 2:00.

2.  Belongings found on the floors of locker rooms will be discarded every Friday.  Please pick up after yourself wherever you are!

3.  Students are not allowed in the building after school unless for a supervised sport or event.

5.  Today is Listening Lunch day for Personal finance with Jody in the pool room. The topic is “SAVING MONEY”.

6.  Seniors:  Remember, it's college knowledge month and many schools are accepting FREE applications, particularly next week (Oct 22-26).  Find the full list on the counseling website and get your application on!

7.  There will be an NHS meeting during Spartan Pride today in the library.

8. Our first Friends of Rachel club meeting will be next Wednesday (10/24) during Spartan Pride in the pool room.  We will kick off a couple of projects and set a meeting schedule going forward. If you were NOT able to participate in Friends of Rachel on Monday but would like to join us, please see Mrs. Tucci.  Start a chain reaction!

9.  NHS is hosting its first blood drive of the year on November 2rd. If you are at least 16 years of age and would like to donate, please see or email Mrs. Tucci to sign up and save a life!

10. Greenway Hockey Cheerleading Tryouts: Wednesday, October 31st @ 3:00-4:15

Friday, November 2 @ 3:30-4:45, Monday, November 5 @ 10:15 am -12:30  Bring your skates and wear comfy clothes. Grades 7-12.  Any Questions, ask Jen McInerney in the Community Education Office
