Join Jillian Ristau, MS, LPCC (a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy Licensed therapist) for a fun-filled learning experience using therapeutic interventions. Students will learn skills to manage emotions through play, art, and movement. Weather permitting, part of camp will be held outdoors on the playground.

Winter Sports Update!
The Girls Season ended on Wednesday night after a loss to Mt. Iron-Buhl
The Boys regular season finale is tonight at NKHS vs. Cromwell. JH and JV start at 5:45 with Varsity to follow.
The boys are in line to host a play-in game on Monday 3/4, but official word won't be posted until Saturday. That game would be at 6 p.m.
Jovanna Volker qualified as an individual for the state wrestling tournament and wound up as the #2 seed in her bracket. She wrestles around 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Keewatin Elementary had the pleasure of hosting Kevin Lovegreen, author of Lucky Luke's Adventures book series. Kevin talked to the students about the writing process and the importance of being a lifelong reader.

Our Girls Basketball team will be hosting the section 7A play-in game on Monday 2/26. The game will be a varsity only start at 6 p.m. vs. Littlefork-Big Falls.
As this is a playoff game, all spectators will need to pay at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at the game at a price of $5 for students and $10 for adults. Passes will not be accepted.

Dixie is a Math League Regional medalist in the 2023-2024 Minnesota State High School Mathematics League. Dixie is co-captain of the Nashwauk-Keewatin math league team. She has demonstrated service to the team, school, and teammates.
NK Cheerleading Clinic for grades K-6 is Saturday, Feb. 24th from 9am-noon at the Nashwauk High School. Participants will have the opportunity to perform during halftime at the Feb. 29th boys' basketball game!
