Congratulations to our Fall of 2024 Stars of Honor for their academic performance, kind hearts, and "do your best" positive mindsets. They were awarded certificates by the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Athletics to receive five free tickets to the University of Minnesota Women's Basketball game vs. the University of Wisconsin on Sunday, January 26th at 2:00pm. If your child was one of the lucky recipients, please make sure to register for the tickets as instructed on the certificates that came home with them yesterday. Way to go Spartans!

Spartan Angling is a
popular elective for grades 9-12 that teaches the art and science of Minnesota Angling. One component of the class is students design and build their own rod to keep! We are in the finishing process of rods now! Take a kid fishing!




The Cookies & Hot Cocoa class is now full! We will be offering 3 classes after school in January at the KES. String Art, Make a Fleece Tie Blanket and we will have a one day LEGO party! Flyers will be available soon!


8th grade field trip: On, Thursday, January 9th, all 8th graders will go to the MN North College-Itasca to learn more about Career Pathways before registering for high school. Permission forms are being sent home today!


Our September-November students of the month got to experience the Great Lakes Aquarium today. K-3 students learned all about seahorses and our 4-6 students learned about the life cycle of sturgeon. Exploring was so much fun!
