Career Exploration is a new elective being offered for ninth and tenth grade students at NKHS this coming semester. Students will learn budgeting skills, workplace communication techniques, and begin preparing for their futures after graduation by exploring multiple career paths.
Interested students should see Mrs. Anderson to enroll if they haven't already or see Mr. Gleason if they have any questions.

1st grade had fun making pumpkin pie in a cup today. 😊 We made predictions, used tally marks, created a graph, and analyzed results. Students even got their own recipe book to share with their families. Go Spartans!!

There's nothing like the first day of snow in elementary school!! Spartan Strong 💙🧡

Shout out to our November students of the month! 👏🏼🎉
We would also like to thank Mucho Si for donating a taco meal to each of our November students.

Spartan Outdoors: new elective at NKHS for grades 7/8 had 2 guest speakers this week! Mike Sullivan from the MN Forestry Works discussed the timber industry and jobs for students. Secondly, Rachel from Friends of the BWCA talked to students about clothing layering and packing for camping trips. Get your kids outside!

Today we say, "Thank you" to all Veterans of the United States!!
We had a great program at the high school honoring veterans both past and present. Students submitted art projects, poems, and stories to celebrate veterans and recognize the sacrifices they have made for our country. Many students got up and spoke about veterans in their lives, and the band/choir performed songs to pay respect as well. From all of us at NKHS, thank you veterans for your service!!

This is a reminder that Nashwauk-Keewatin High School will hold its Veterans Day Program tomorrow, November 11th, at 10 a.m. in the Main Gym.
The Keewatin Elementary School will also have its Veterans Day Program tomorrow, November 11th, at 1 p.m. in the Keewatin Gym. Wear Red, White and Blue to honor our Vets! We look forward to seeing you!
