Check out this fun opportunity for 10th and 11th graders!
This will be our final year of having two separate Veterans Day Programs at our high school and elementary, as we are all excited to be under one roof in our new school building next year! However, for this year, the Nashwauk-Keewatin High School will have its Veterans Day Program at 10am in the main gym and Keewatin Elementary will have its program at 1pm in the Keewatin Gym. Both Veterans Day Programs will be on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11th. We welcome the public in honoring our Veterans at both programs and encourage everyone to wear red, white and blue!
Veterans Day is almost here! We welcome the public on Monday, November 11th to honor our United States Veterans. We will be holding a program in the high school gym at 10:00am to pay our respect to those who have served our country. Student art projects will be displayed, we will have some guest speakers, and the NKHS band/choir will be performing. We would love to see Veterans and families from the NK community come to our event so we can say "Thank you" for all your contributions to the USA!
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce a special photography fundraiser that will not only help capture beautiful moments but also support the Spartan Booster Club. Whether you're looking to create a lasting memory or need a professional photo, this is the perfect opportunity to give back while getting something special in return.
Here’s how it works:
1. Book a Session: Schedule a professional photo for your family or individual. Contact Ms. Riipinen at briipinen@isd319.org
2. Support the Cause: Proceeds go to the Spartan Booster Club, which donates thousands of dollars a year to our school activities, programs, and sports. Each spot is $30. Checks can be written to Spartan Booster Club.
3. Enjoy a Stunning Photo: Receive one retouched photo delivered digitally by the photographer.
We hope you’ll join us in making this fundraiser a success. Thank you for your continued support!
Please email canderson@isd319.org if you are interested in donating to the blood drive! Students and community members must be 16 years or older.
With teacher permission, any student interested in using Google Classroom to organize their work and events can stop by the library from 9:45 to 10:30 next week.
Check out the Workshop Calendar to view the upcoming workshops this month.
